Introduction to Crushing and Sorting Process of Decoration Waste

Decoration waste is one of the more complex components of construction waste, which contains a certain amount of toxic and harmful substances. The components include recyclable substances, non-recyclable substances and ash. The recyclable substances include wood, paper packaging, a small amount of bricks, concrete, mortar fragments, steel, glass, plastic, etc. The non-recyclable substances mainly include adhesives, glued wood, waste paint and paint, etc.

GEP's decoration waste crushing and sorting system adopts the process concept of first sorting and then crushing, heavy sorting and light crushing, to avoid excessive crushing of debris with materials, which will increase the difficulty of sorting. Through two-stage crushing treatment of double-shaft shredder and impact crusher, and fine processing such as vibration screening, manual/mechanical sorting, air separation, magnetic separation, flotation, etc., the sand and gravel can be fully separated from metal and light substances to realize resource recovery and utilization.

The process flow is as follows:

The material is sent to the double-shaft shredder through the chain conveyor for coarse crushing. After crushing, the material is removed by the flip-flow screen, iron by the magnetic separator, air separator and manual sorting for impurity removal. The relatively clean material is sent to the impact crusher for medium and fine crushing. After crushing, it is sent to the finished product screen for screening. The unqualified material is returned to the impact crusher and broken again until it is qualified. The material after the finished product screening is sent to the light material processor for impurity removal and then transported to the material pile.
