How to Recycle and Dispose of Waste Metal?

Have metal processing companies consulted us on how to dispose of unused metal? Let's learn from our experience in a scrap metal recycling project in North America.

The project was invested and constructed by a leading local aluminum material production and processing enterprise, purchasing nearly 30 equipment including hydraulic coarse crusher, dual axis shear shredder, European version single axis fine crusher, magnetic separator, drum screening machine, eddy current sorting machine, etc., jointly forming a waste aluminum profile packaging material, bulk ton packaging material crushing and recycling system, and aluminum chip pressing cake crushing and recycling system.

Aluminum profile waste crushing and recycling system

Aluminum profile waste crushing and recycling system

System capacity: 8 tons per hour

Discharge size: about 50mm

Process description:

Adopting a combination of two-stage crushing and multi-stage sorting process. The packaging material/ton of packaging material first enters the hydraulic coarse crusher for breaking and unpacking, and then enters the double shaft shredder for further crushing after preliminary iron removal. Subsequently, a drum screening machine is designed for screening, and if the discharge size is not qualified, the returned material will be crushed to meet the processing requirements of back-end fine sorting. After the secondary iron removal, the qualified ones enter the eddy current sorting machine and X-ray sorting machine for impurity removal in order to ensure the purity and combustion efficiency of the final incoming materials.

Aluminum chip crushing and recycling system

System capacity: 3 tons per hour

Discharge size: about 30mm

Process description:

Adopting a simple process of fine crushing and iron removal. The use of customized machining tools not only ensures that the aluminum chip pressing cake is fully broken, but also continues the tradition of long service life of GEP tools, and more importantly, greatly reduces customer usage costs.

Our scrap metal crushing system (with different equipment configurations and process designs) has also been used for the confidential destruction of retired fighter jets:

Also demonstrated hard core strength in the stainless steel trash can crushing project:

In addition to scrap metal, GEP has targeted disposal systems for general industrial waste recycling such as waste plastic, waste glass, waste paper, waste tires, and waste wood. Following the mechanism of "one project, one set of solutions", GEP has effectively implemented, refined, and refined each project, resulting in today's double harvest of reputation and performance.
