The Zhongyuan District Domestic Waste Sorting Center, as the core hub for regional waste terminal disposal, shoulders the critical responsibilities of sorting, pre-processing, and resource utilization for all domestic waste in the district. Previously, GEP ECOTECH had tailored three intelligent disposal systems for bulky waste, waste textiles, and food waste, establishing an efficient and coordinated waste terminal disposal system. It is this accumulated experience of "reliable and hassle-free" collaboration that led the center to decisively partner with GEP ECOTECH once again for this production line renovation and technological upgrade.
Why Choose GEP ECOTECH Again?
The answer stems from the center's deep trust in GEP ECOTECH's mature equipment technology and precise solution capabilities. In this technical upgrade, GEP ECOTECH not only maintained the stability advantages of core equipment but also introduced independently developed single-shaft shredders and air separation systems—effectively addressing clients' pain points in material particle size control and impurity removal while proactively catering to dual market demands for both unpackaged bulk materials and formed blocks. This dual enhancement significantly improves both the practicality and economic efficiency of the production line.
Overview of the Core Production Line Process
The upgraded alternative fuel production line is a customized solution developed by GEP ECOTECH to address the new demands for industrial solid waste disposal, such as waste textiles, while aligning with the "dual carbon" decarbonization trend. The process design is scientifically rigorous, ensuring precise conversion from "waste" to "fuel," with each production step meticulously interconnected:
- Primary Shredding and Impurity Removal: First, materials such as waste textiles are conveyed by a chain plate conveyor into a double-shaft shredder for primary shredding. Subsequently, the materials undergo a magnetic separation process to remove metallic impurities. Then, the wind sifter utilizes the aerodynamic resistance differences between lightweight and heavy materials to separate bricks and other heavy substances, directing them to the standardized landfill process to ensure the purity of subsequent materials.
- Fine Shredding: The sorted lightweight materials will enter a fine shredder for fine shredding, ensuring precise control over the discharge size to meet subsequent processing requirements.
- Diverse Outputs: The purified material after shredding will be processed in two separate streams—one passes through a hydraulic baler to form compacted bundles, facilitating long-distance storage and transportation; the other enters an RDF pellet machine, where it is compressed into high-density molded blocks. These two product forms can flexibly meet the usage and procurement needs of different customers, expanding market application scenarios.
- Intelligent Escort: The entire production line is equipped with a professional dust removal system and a GI intelligent monitoring system, ensuring compliance with environmental standards, operational safety, and stable, efficient performance throughout the process, thereby reducing customer maintenance pressure.
Empowering "Dual Carbon" Goals, Transforming Waste into Fuel
Under the "dual carbon" strategy, cement kiln alternative fuels serve as a key pathway to reduce fossil energy consumption and achieve solid waste resource utilization. This alternative fuel production line, developed by GEP ECOTECH, not only enables the precise conversion of waste resources into green energy but also helps the center establish an industry benchmark in solid waste decarbonization. It provides a replicable and scalable decarbonization model for municipal solid waste recycling across the country.
