The GFS fiber separator is an air sorting machine that separates the fine fibers mixed in the rubber powder. It adopts a multi chamber fully enclosed workspace design to avoid environmental pollution and can also be used for the grading treatment of fine rubber powder. Its principle is based on the weight difference between the fine rubber powder and the fiber threads mixed together, which generates different lifting forces under the action of airflow, causing the two to settle in different places and achieve separation effect.
The fiber separator is composed of the analysis machine, wind feeding system, loading head, and bag dust removal facility. It is suitable for processing waste tires, especially waste nylon tires. It separates the fluffy fibers mixed with rubber powder that have been crushed and ground by a rubber grinder to improve the purity of rubber powder and the quality of recycled rubber products. It can also be used in the air sorting and grading process of fine powder products in some chemical enterprises.
The center of the fiber separator body is equipped with a transmission device, and the impellers are installed on the main shaft of the transmission device. The main shaft is connected to the wind blades and wind blade plates, and rotates together with the main shaft. The main shaft drives the impellers to rotate at high speed, and rubber granules and rubber powder with fine fuzz fibers enter the machine body. The impellers on both sides of the machine body rotate rapidly to generate airflow. Under the action of the airflow, the wind pressure near the blades is lower than that inside the machine body, causing the fine fuzz fibers in the rubber granules or rubber powder to rise and float, and are discharged through the guide pipe. Pure rubber granules and rubber powder cannot float due to their large specific gravity. As a result, they flow out through the screen installed on the base.
