Flip-Flow Screen GESC Series

The flip flow screen is a combination of circular vibrating screen screening technology and toothed screen technology, consisting of vibration box, screen box, intermediate shaft, driving device and spring, etc. It has the characteristics of high elasticity, smooth vibration and compact structure. The polyurethane elastic screen makes continuous relaxation movement through the resonance principle, so that the acceleration of material throwing can reach 30-50 times of the acceleration of gravity, solving the problems of low screening efficiency, screen plate blocking holes, noise, etc.


The flip flow screen is an effective solution to the complex and diverse screening requirements of construction waste aggregates, and is mostly used for wet material screening applications.

Working Principle

The working principle of the flip flow screen is that a single drive provides a double vibration: the circular vibration generated by the rotation of the eccentric block is the basic vibration and the oval vibration generated by the floating screen frame is the additional vibration. The polyurethane elastic screen surface is mounted at both ends on the floating beam and the fixed beam of the floating screen frame. The polyurethane elastic screen surface expands and contracts continuously during the screening process to obtain a high vibration intensity, thus effectively preventing blockage of the screen holes.

    (1) High acceleration allows the material to be fully dispersed, more material reaches the screen holes in a given time and the trampoline effect reduces the total amount of adhering particles, resulting in a higher production capacity; (2) The flexible flip flow screen plate is continuously bent, which prevents the material from sticking to the screen plate; (3) The stretching of the screen plate leads to a slight enlargement of the screen holes in the tension direction, which effectively prevents the screen holes from being blocked by particles close to the screen hole size. (4) The polyurethane screen plate has good abrasion resistance, good elasticity, high elongation at break and resistance to bending and winding, which makes it ideal for screening of wet materials.
  3. The difference between the flip flow screen and the common vibrating screen.

    (1) The vibration principle is different: the vibration of the flip flow screen consists of two parts: circular or linear vibration produced by the exciter and flaccid vibration of the screen surface produced by the floating screen frame. Ordinary vibrating screen is only by the exciter to produce circular vibration or linear vibration, screen surface and vibrating screen is one vibration. (2) Different vibration strength: due to the double vibration principle, the vibration strength of the flip flow screen is higher than that of the ordinary vibrating screen, resulting in higher screening efficiency; (3) The flip flow screen is highly adaptable to the screening material, and can handle wet and sticky difficult to screen materials, and is not easy to block the screen hole.
  4. Commissioning of the flip flow screen.

    The test run of the machine should last at least 4 hours, during which it is checked by hearing, sight and touch. This machine should start smoothly, without special noise and operate reliably. All parts of this machine should reach a predetermined stroke and must make a reciprocating linear movement in the direction of the excitation force. The cross-swing of the screen box of it shall not be too large during operation. Shaker bearing temperature gradually rise, 3 hours after the bearing temperature shall not exceed 85 ℃, the temperature rise shall not exceed 45 ℃, that is, the temperature remains basically constant. After 4 hours of empty operation, check whether the its bolts are loose, if loose should be tightened in time.
