A few days ago, after a number of sets of bulky waste disposal equipment went down to the southeast and into the northwest, GEP ECOTECH waste tires disposal equipment also set off again. This time, the destination was Macao Special Administrative Region, which also means that GEP's service footprint has been expanded again to solve solid waste disposal problems for more and more cities.
This "war team" of chain conveyors, double-shaft tire shredders, roller screens, belt conveyors, hydraulic wheel extractors and intelligent monitoring systems will be working at a large waste disposal center built by the Macao Special Administrative Region Government to shred waste tires used as fuel to small pieces in order to improve the efficiency of the incineration process.
In recent years, tire-derived fuel TDF has become one of the main ways to dispose of waste tires. Relevant data shows that the calorific value of burning waste tires is approximately 7000-8000 calories/kg, which is 25%-50% more than coal, 100%-200% more than wood, and almost as much as oil. In terms of price, however, it is more economical than burning coal, while the emissions produced are also relatively cleaner. Thanks to its high calorific value and cost-effective attributes, shredded and disposed waste tires have also become an alternative fuel for energy-intensive industries such as cement plants, power plants, paper mills and steel mills.
Deeply engaged in waste tire shredding and disposal for ten years, GEP has a certain degree of popularity and discourse in this field. We have independently developed tire shredder, wheel extractor, tire wire separator, granulator, rubber breaker, fiber separator and other equipment required for the comprehensive recycling system of waste tires, and can also provide various resource disposal solutions such as shredding and grinding, cracking and refining, and cement kiln incineration according to customer needs.
